Jacques opens with a bang
A NEW bar has opened at Pirates Theatre in Magaluf with an emotional tribute to one of the island’s bestknown characters.
‘Jacques’ is named after Jacques Sasson, the wellknown founder of the Pi rates Adventure show. The show originated in Benidorm before Mr Sasson brought it to Mallorca.

Mr Sasson, who passed away in 2010, has been credited with the introduction of several innovations in tourism in Spain including the ‘all inclusive’ concept.

The opening party for ‘Jaques’ included several performances from cast members for the 2023 season including fire dancing, neon body painting, fire breathing, acrobatics, live music, close up magic, and burlesque acts. The bar will be open to both ticket holders and non ticket holders of the shows.
‘Pirates Reloaded’ opens on Friday April 21 with a newlook show for the new year. “We have kept the high energy show which we are known for, showcasing the amazing talents of our performers and adding to them. We are excited to bring a range of well known DJs to the island to play in the months of May and June including names like Judge Jules and Woody Cook,” said show director Elizabeth Zeiba.
