MORE than 8,000 cyclists will take part in this year’s Mallorca 312 race through the island on Saturday (April 29).
One of the most im ‐portant sporting events of the year, the Mallorca 312 transforms the is ‐ land into a haven for cy ‐cling enthusiasts from all over the world.


This will be the 13th edition of the race that begins and ends at Playa de Muro with three al ‐ternative routes of 167, 225 and 312 kilometres.
However, on the downside, the race also entails numerous traffic cuts and restrictions for drivers in the northern and southwestern parts of the island.
