Strides in support
RINCON DE LA VICTORIA is preparing to mark National Epilepsy Day by participating in the ‘One Million Steps for Epilepsy’ solidarity walk on Sunday, May 21.
This exciting event, organised by a collaboration between the Malaga Association for Epilepsy (AMADE) and the Department of Social Welfare, aims to raise awareness about epilepsy.
The ‘One Million Steps for Epilepsy’ campaign aims to shed light on the challenges faced by people living with epilepsy and advocate for increased support in terms of research, inclusion, as well as recognition of the everyday difficulties sufferers of the condition face.

AMADE is calling for more resources, including staff and facilities, in various hospitals across the province.
The walk will kick off at 12pm from Plaza Pepe El Boticario and continue all the way to Plaza del Agua, before returning to the starting point. Adding to the festive spirit, participants will enjoy a lively atmosphere with music and dance performances along the route.
