Sleep easy

A GOOD night’s sleep could help the elderly ward off memory loss caused by Alzheimer’s.

The news coincided with UK research which examined how boosting sleep quality could assist in improving the symptoms of people diagnosed with the disease.

All involved emphasised that sleep quality could be altered in contrast to the other factors that contributed to dementia, including age.

“It’s like a switch, the flushes go away in a day or two,” he told the UK media. “It’s unbelievable how well these drugs work.”
