Porsche & golf Magic of Mehari
Porsche
THE 40th staging of the longstanding Porsche European Open tournament will present top international golf and a spectacular fan experience from June 1 to June 4.
To mark the brand’s 75th anniversary, a special Porsche World will be awaiting visitors as Porsche is the title sponsor for the eighth time this year.
In addition to the famous trophy that has been presented since 1978, a dream car will be on offer on the 17th hole for a dream shot over the water hazard.

Anyone aceing the Par 3 can look forward to a Porsche Taycan Turbo S Cross Turismo in Mamba Green Metallic. Chances of achieving the feat this time around are perhaps greater than ever before as the spectacular almost 140 metre 17th will be playing a little shorter this year.
The last ace on the penultimate hole was struck in 2017 by Marcel Siem. It earned the German a Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo.
IT was in May 1968, 55 years ago, at the heart of the French student protest movement, that Citroën revealed its new vehicle at the Deauville golf course: the Mehari.
The vehicle is an atypical pickup offering from 28 to 32 hp, with an ABS plastic body, designed by Roland de La Poype.

Built on a Dyane 6 platform, it was given the name Dyane 6 Mehari on its release.
Produced for almost 20 years between 1968 and 1987, 144,953 units were built (including 1,213 4x4 Mehari), making a surprising success for this unusual vehicle.
The Mehari was produced, for the most part of it, in the Citroën factory in Forest, Belgium, but also in seven other factories in France, Spain and Portugal.
The name of the Mehari comes from the masculine name mehari which is the name given to dromedaries in North Africa and in the Sahara.
