Pavement extension Airport addition

ALMERIA Airport has just inaugurated two new refreshment points in the terminal building, after Lagardere (the company that manages them after winning the last tender) completed the remodelling work on them.

One of the new points serves the check­in hall under the Tribs brand name, while the second point serves the boarding area under the Beercode brand name. Both are open­plan premises, with a concept focused on optimising the user experience.

Tribs operates as a cafeteria and has a multi­shop with small electronic equipment, toiletries and souvenirs, among other products. At Beercode, the menu includes beers, wines, hot dishes and cold dishes to be consumed on the premises or taken on board your flight.

Almeria Airport has a third restaurant located on the terrace on the top floor of the terminal with views of the airfield and a children’s play area. These premises will also be remodelled shortly, with the aim of reopening to the public in the coming months.

ALMERIA City Council has completed the works to extend the pavement and update the lighting of Carretera de Níjar.

The councillor for Urban Planning and Infrastructure, Ana Martinez Labella, confirmed: “A commitment to the residents of the area happily materialised thanks to the transfer of 1,267 square metres of land made by the land owners, negotiated in exchange for urban use.”
