Musical Spring success

THE municipal Santa María Magdalena band of Benitachell closed the Primavera Musical (‘Musical Spring’) concert cycle on Saturday to a full house. A large crowd gathered in Benitachell church square to enjoy the performance led by orchestra director Manu Romero, displaying a great chemistry with the musicians. Musical, which has become one of the main events on the local festive and culture calendar and a reference for the whole area. Performers this year included Tocant i Rodant & Al Vent - a collaboration between traditional Valencian music and a brass band - the Marina Alta Orchestra (OMA) and a joint performance by Valencia Chamber Orchestra and Cantollano choir.
