The councillor confirmed that a total of 159,529 payments worth €14,014,098.71 were collected in the first voluntary period (this includes both vehicle and parking taxes).
In relation to vehicle tax, 154,735 payments were col lected, amounting to €12,723,899.83. Of this total, 84.46 per cent were collected on a voluntary basis, ie 132,132 payments amount to €10,848,393; the remaining 15.54 per cent were collected on an enforced basis.

FOLLOWING on from the resounding success of Hello Dolly, Studio 32 are excited to recruit cast and crew for their next show, The Pajama Game. Although not as wellknown as Hello Dolly it has some great music and the potential to bring joy and laughter under the guidance of their experienced show director, Kevin Spicer.

Studio 32 was formed in 2013 with the aim of bringing high quality musical theatre to the Costa Blanca and, in the process, raising money for local charities. During that time they have donated over €35,000 to various causes, most notably the San Fulgencio Alzheimer’s Association.
The group are always happy to audition new members into performing roles in the company, and to engage people in nonperforming roles such as backstage crew, lighting,
4,794 payments were made amounting to a total of €1,290,198.88. Of this total, 94.6 per cent were collected on a voluntary basis, i.e. 4,549 payments amounting to €1,222,155.16.
In comparison with 2022, this year 1,702 more vehicle payments and 232 more payments for parking were collected, which means an extra €58,951.62 in the kitty.
