Guitar legacy
THE Municpal Network of Museums of Almeria has now added a new museum space to its wide offer and programming. A few weeks ago it was the Archaeological Site Barrio Andalusi (Meson Gitano), this time it is the turn of the House of Antonio de Torres which can now be visited by both locals and visitors.

Carlos Gonzalez, curator of the Guitar Museum, added: “We are in a unique and magical space, Torres used to come here and lock himself away, I am sure that people from all over the world will come to visit this housemuseum, especially guitar lovers.”
The councillor for the Promotion of the City, Jesus Luque, confirmed: “Of his legacy practically nothing has remained, although three pieces by Antonio de Torres are preserved in the Guitar Museum, which is named after him.”
