These are just some of the recommendations that the Association of Friends of the Cabo de GataNíjar Natural Park has printed in the latest issue of its quarterly publication Eco del Parque.
The conservationist group has launched their advice because ‘many of those who visit us are unaware that there are no throwaway beaches here, for leisure, partying and consumerism’.
“All the beaches in the Cabo de GataNijar Natural Park are part of a unique, fragile and protected natural area. When enjoying them, we must always adopt a sensible attitude of respect and protection of the environment,” the group pointed out.
Cabo de Gata Nijar is the largest protected coastal area in Andalucia, featuring a wild and isolated landscape. Spain’s southeastern coast, where the park is situated, is the only region in mainland Europe with a hot desert climate.
