THIRTEEN Los Bandidos runners took on the fifth race in the Circuito de Carreras Populares Diputacion de Almeria 2023 in Sorbas on Saturday, June 17.
The 9k race started at 7.30pm, with the temperature still tipping 30 degrees!
The hilly route, leaving the sports centre straight up a hill, went through the town, along a rambla, avoiding a few muddy puddles, then a long steady climb, followed by a steep downhill, with the final sprint uphill to the finish line.
The group won one raffle prize and the ladies came home with six age group trophies, which were individually made at one of the local potteries. As a team (four fastest runners), they finished ninth and won a prize for being the

WITH the summer season just beginning, thousands of families are expected to arrive this summer at the wellknown Western theme park, Oasys MiniHollywood.
An oasis in the middle of the desert of Tabernas (Almeria), which is more than ready to welcome everyone with a large aquatic area and lots of trees throughout the enclosure. One of the big questions that visitors ask themselves, especially those who repeat or have their annual pass, is third bestrepresented club.
The winner finished in a speedy 32:01, with the first lady in 39:29. A total of 182 runners crossed the finish line.
Trophies were awarded to first, second and third places in each age group as well as to the overall winners.
