Gaining muscle

since February 2022, and the almost 6,000 new companies in Spain (incorporations minus dissolutions during the month of May) as indicated by the data from Experian, it can be affirmed that the Spanish fabric is gaining muscle.

The data extracted by Experian’s Economic Research Department indicate that 10,373 compa­ nies were incorporated in May (compared to 9,375 in May 2022), bringing the total number of companies registered in Spain to 50. With regard to dissolutions, a total of 4,412 companies were registered in May this year (336 more than in April), which represents a decrease of 12.5 per cent compared to the same month last year.
