In addition, the council has teamed up with the Eucrante non-governmental organisation to launch the yearly Rorqual campaign, where vol- unteers are called upon to take part in whale-spotting duties from the observation station at the Torre del Gerro (Las Rotas) to collect data for investigations into the migratory habits of finback whales through the Cap de Sant Antoni.
The campaign takes place until July 15 and volunteers will be split into two teams, one from 6.30am to 11am and the second from 5pm to 9pm.
Anyone wishing to take part can do so by emailing vol untarios@eucrante.org.
