Flag renewals

THE councillor for Beaches and the Environment of the Torrevieja City Council, Antonio Vidal, has proudly collected six Qualitur flags.

The flags certify the quality and cleanliness of the waters and sands of the city’s beaches, as well as the hygienic ser­ vices and areas of recreation and leisure.

The flags have been awarded to the beaches of La Mata, Los Naufragos, El Cura, Los Locos, Cabo Cervera, La Mata and Cala Piteras.

The councillor confirmed that Torrevieja is fully pre­ pared to face the summer campaign that has already begun, highlighting “the significant investment made by the consistory to have a great lifeguard and surveillance system that is making Torrevieja’s sandbanks one of the safest in the Valencian Community.”
