Concert success
THE Crescendo International Choir performed a wellattended free concert on Saturday, June 17, at The Club, in Quesada which is a new venue for the choir.
This was the choir’s final concert of the year before the summer break.
The choir sang the following songs at the concert: Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps, I Say a Little Prayer for You, Make You Feel My Love, The Rose, What a Wonderful World, You Raise Me Up, The Rhythm of Life, Sway, City of Stars, Amapola, Historia de un Amor, Clavelitos and Les Miserables.

The choir would be delighted to have more singers, especially basses. This international group sings a variety of songs ranging from musicals to spirituals, from pop to classical, mostly in English or Spanish.
Rehearsals take place at Rincon de Miguel in Los Montesinos starting on Monday, September 4, between 15.45pm and 8.00pm.
All singers are welcome!
PINOSO’s Gastrobar, Nou Embolic, is proud to announce they made it to the finals of the Estrella de Levante Beer Pulling Contest.
The final phase of the competition was held on Monday, June 26, in the Tasting Room of the Murcian Estrella de Levante factory. A professional jury was in charge of choosing the 10 finalists from the 375 contestants who took part.
Nou Embolic has been the only representative of the Valencian Community. The rest of the catering establishments belong to the Region of Murcia and the provinces of Almeria and Albacete.
Nou Embolic, who was represented by Virginia Serrano, raised the flag very high and made the town proud by winning a finalists diploma, a bottle of unfiltered beer and an apron.
