MAGIC lovers are invited to step into a world of enchantment in Estepona on Sunday, July 30. The town’s Rey Felipe VI is set to host an astonishing spectacle with ‘The Magic Show’, an incredible tribute to the teenage wizard, Harry Potter.

Guests will be mesmerised by a variety of live magic tricks and acts performed by the talented wizard. The Spanishlanguage experience is suitable for all ages, where the wonder of magic comes alive before your very eyes.

This immersive production will transport you to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where you’ll encounter mythical creatures, mindbending illusions, and fascinating spells.

CHRISTINE, the President of Rotary International Mijas is preparing to pass the torch of leadership to Francisco, but not before a delightful President’s Handover Gala Dinner on Friday, July 7.

President Christine and President Elect Francisco cordially invite guests to join them at the La Sierra restaurant, nestled in Cerrado del Aguila from 7.30pm on the evening, when canapés will be served. Guests will then be treated to a delicious barbecue buffet dinner, with drinks included.

PREPARE to be swept away by the stirring rhythms and passionate ballads of flamenco as the 40th Flamenco Singing Festival arrives at San Pedro Alcantara’s El Centro de Artes Escénicas La Alcoholera on Saturday, July 8. The renowned Flamenco Club of San Pedro unveiled the programme of incredible artistry this week, which promises to be a memorable experience for any flamenco lovers. Guests will experience the raw emotion of Miguel de orable occasion. Guests will also be serenaded by the talented local singer­songwriter Aida Garner during the evening.

Beyond the glitz and glamour, this gala will celebrate the achievements of the last year, and Christine in her presidency. The evening will also raise money for charity, setting the tone for another year of generous support for charities across the globe.

Deputy mayor Javier García recognised the festival’s cultural significance during the programme launch, praising the Flamenco Club for their year­round programme. General admission tickets cost €20, with a special rate of €15 for club members. Tickets will be available from the venue on the night.
