Shuttle-less

THE shuttle bus that took health professionals, patients and relatives free of charge from the Torrecardenas University Hospital to the shopping centre of the same name, and vice versa, has temporarily suspended its service.

According to the hospital, the bus will stop running on July 15, but will be back after the summer season on October 1.

The shuttle bus was launched almost a year ago, coinciding with the closure of the hospital’s cafeteriarestaurant and was a free means of transport not only for those who came to the hospital and could not find a place to park their car, but also for patients, relatives and professionals who had nowhere to eat.

The quickest and cheapest alternative was the shopping centre, with parking and eating facilities in its numerous restaurants.
