Charity race

GRAB a torch and your running shoes as the city of Almeria is set to host its seventh Night Charity Race Against Cancer.

Sport and solidarity merge once again all for a good cause in Almeria on Saturday July 15 in the historic centre of the capital.

It is a race whose objective is to raise funds to fight against and will cover a distance of five kilometres.

With a starting time of 9.30pm, the starting point is at the gate of La Alcazaba and the finish line is set to be in the Plaza Vieja.

It will be a sporting event that will continue to demonstrate the solidarity that so characterises the people of Almeria as, has been proven in previous years, a high participation is expected.

RENFE is set to increase the Intercity train service between Madrid and Almeria with 3,000 additional seats at the weekend from mid-July to the end of August.
