Proverb Of The Week

Planning explained that these licences for construction contribute to their vision of prosperity for Marbella.

“It takes two to tango.”

This means that both parties involved in a situation or argument are equally responsible for it. The phrase refers to the South American dance tango which requires two partners to perform. It originated in a song written by AL Hoffman and Dick Manning in 1952.

The approved projects include two residential complexes, with 45 and 46 homes in San Pedro Alcántara, with a combined budget of €18 million.

Additionally, the council granted licences for 96 properties in the Los Monteros area, valued at €25 million. Lastly, two singlefamily homes in Nueva Andalucia received a construction budget of €2 million.

In addition to these exciting developments, the city council has also introduced a streamlined process to encourage the installation of solar panels. Residents wanting to use this sustainable energy source can now complete an online form and receive their building permits hasslefree.

Marbella is showing itself to be a forward thinking city, committed to sustainable development and renewable energy initiatives.
