Adra is set to compete with up to 43 municipalities in the Andalucia region and will try to wrestle the Green Flag from Chiclana de la Frontera and Fuengirola, the two municipalities that were the winners in last year’s Green Flags in the region.

ALMERIA has been represented at the Alberto Herreros de Arganda Sports Centre on the occasion of the Spanish School ­ Age Boxing Championship.

The Lola Boxing Sports School in Almeria paid a visit to the event with one of its very promising athletes.

The national event featured more than 200 boys and girls who competed in the Spanish Championship over different days to demonstrate their talent in the ring.

Tristan Romero represented Almeria and he did the city proud.

In fact, Tristan was proclaimed absolute champion of Spain, a title which the athlete has renewed for the third consecutive time.

Lola Martinez, the Technical Director of the Lola Boxing Sports School, expressed her pride in training the man from Almeria since “he is one of the most relevant young promises in Almeria to be part of the Spanish National Team.”
