The programme offers trips ranging from four to 10 days long to coastal areas, islands, and cultural and natural parks across the country. The prices range from €290.07 to €489.99 for 10 days, with some pensioners eligible for a discount of up to 50 per cent.

The programme includes transport, accommodation with full board, a comprehensive insurance policy, medical assistance, and a cultural programme of activities.

Those who meet the requirements, including being a pensioner or receiving social security benefits, and their spouses or disabled children are eligible to apply.

The IMSERSO Tourism Programme aims to promote sociable tourism and improve the quality of life for local pensioners. It is an excellent opportunity for local older people to socialise, relax, and enjoy new experiences.

Registration forms can be downloaded from the IMSERSO website and filled in online, or in person at the Department for Older Residents.
