Fun quiz

AGE Care Costa del Sol’s fun quiz in Riviera on Tuesday, July 4, was a great success! With a healthy turnout of 10 different teams, the event raised a very respectable €192 for the association’s work.

Age Care took to Facebook to thank Alan Boardman, the quiz master. The organisation also thanked Tim of the Village Inn for hosting the event. The quiz was a fun­filled afternoon, enjoyed by all who attended, and helped raise much­needed funds.

Age Care Costa del Sol is a non­profit organisation that provides assistance to the elderly and disabled on the Costa del Sol. The group’s objective is to promote the welfare of elderly and disabled people, and to provide support and assistance to those in need.

Legion lunches

MARBELLA celebrated the ‘Family Dog Day’ on Friday, July 14 with a fun­ filled evening for pet owners and their furry friends. Guests enjoyed expert advice on dog care, exciting displays, and even took home a complimentary pet kit.

Boutique break

THE Lux Mundi Centre’s Boutique on Calle Nueva No. 7 in Fuengirola is temporarily closing due to high temperatures. The reopening date will be announced on social media. Lux Mundi thanks customers for their support.

Tank triumph

LAST CHANCE Animal Rescue thanked all supporters who helped them in their mission to install a new water tank on their premises near Malaga. The tank was installed last week and will now provide fresh water for the shelter’s animals.

Car cat-astrophe

TORREMOLINOS Local Police stepped in to rescue a kitten trapped in a car engine last week after several hours of constant meowing. The officers freed a small kitten, left a note for the owner, while a local took care of the cat.
