Whipple wonder

YOU might recall our recent article about a ‘whipple warrior’ in Benalmadena. Julia, a local woman was unexpectedly diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis and her whole world came crumbling down.

Julia faced a rocky health journey including facing one of the most brutal surgeries out there, the ‘Whipple procedure’.

Now, she’s taking her personal experience and building a support group for people not just experiencing chronic illness, but anyone facing difficulties in their life, who wants to open up about what they are going through.

The group launched a couple of weeks ago, and Julia is looking to eventually build an Englishspeaking support group in the area. The next meeting is set to take place at 12pm on Thursday, July 27 in Benalmadena. Anyone interested to join the group or with questions about further details can contact Julia Bueltemann via WhatsApp on 697 387 417.
