See & Touch opening Big plans

FUENGIROLA is gearing up for a major facelift as the local council announced its Plan de Obras, 2023 construction plan, on Wednesday, July 12.

With investments totalling more than €4.2 million, the plan will fund nine major public works projects, including the renovation of seven public spaces and the resurfacing of the sports courts at Sohail and Azahar local schools.

All of the projects will be financed using the surplus from the 2022 budget. According to Fuengirola’s mayor, Ana Mula, the council treasury will allow for the surplus to be used on the public projects due to the urgent need.

ESTEPONA just got a taste of Hollywood glamour as Eva Longoria, the actress, director, and technology lover, made an appearance at the See & Touch showroom opening on Tuesday, July 18.

Accompanied by her close friend and godmother of her son, Maria Bravo, and the mayor of Estepona, José María García Urbano, the group was welcomed by the CEO of See & Touch, León Naftaniel, and his team of technology experts.

The new space was officially opened by the mayor of Estepona, marking an important milestone in the town’s commitment to encouraging technological growth and economic development.

Longoria, who already has a home technology installation and a stateoftheart home cinema from See & Touch, was thrilled with the experience and hinted at her wish to return soon. The actress, along with her guests, thanked organisers for the ex ceptional experience.

During their visit, the group experienced the latest technological advances in television, sound, and lighting. They also enjoyed a cocktail reception with the finest Champagne and delicious canapés, including acornfed Spanish jamón and Spanish omelette. As a leading technology company, See & Touch offers a wide range of services including audio and video installations and security systems.

The current plan also includes the renovation for several streets, the expansion of sports facilities, and improvements to the Elola Social and Sports Complex. The council said they will work closely with affected residents to ensure minimal disruption to daily life.

Mula shared her excitement about the ambitious project, stating that these improvements are long overdue and part of the council’s commitment to fulfilling its election manifesto.

With the work set to begin shortly, Fuengirola residents can look forward to a brighter, cleaner, and more modern town.
