MALAGA is currently playing host to the biggest Lego exhibition in Europe!

The exhibition, which is being held at the Malaga Factory is open until Sunday, October 8, and boasts nearly 100 intricate large ­ scale models, crafted from more than five million individual Lego pieces.

The exhibition covers a sprawling 1,500 metres with a thrilling fun park and an immersive 3D Trick Gallery, featuring Spain’s largest collection of 3D photographs.

The star of the show is undoubtedly a Boeing 747, the world’s biggest Lego aircraft, standing tall at nearly three metres and stretching a staggering 11 metres in length, created using a 1:7 scale.

Another masterpiece on display is the iconic Big Ben, built from more than 77,000 Lego pieces. Star Wars enthusiasts are in for a treat, with an entire district with more than 100 models showcasing favourite scenes, characters, spacecraft, and battles from the epic saga.

There is also a fascinating Lego replica of the human body’s vital organs, making learning about anatomy and physiology an engaging experience for all ages.

The exhibition is open from Monday to Saturday.

TORREMOLINOS is riding high as the Costa del Sol’s leader in hotel occupancy rates. The sunny coastal hotspot drew the most hotel stays in the region in June, according to figures released on Tuesday, July 25.

A whopping 583,410 overnight stays marked a nearly 7 per cent jump from 2022, accounting for nearly one third of the Costa del Sol’s total visitors. The 122,275 vis itors also outpaced An dalucian rivals like Sevil la, Benalmadena, and Roquetas de Mar.

International tourists powered the growth with 69,807 foreign travellers recorded. Brits topped the list at 21,348, followed by Dutch, Irish, French, and Polish guests.

Mayor Margarita del Cid credited the “extraordinary data” to promotional efforts and an uptick in tourists from Torremolinos’ key markets.

With 79.22 per cent occu­ ploys nearly 10 per cent more than last June with a total of 3,323 hotel staff members.

€119.60, giving an extra economic boost to the town. With sunny outlooks for tourism, Torremolinos is primed for a stunning summer!
