Culinary world tour

BENALMADENA is revving up for a global food extravaganza! From today, Thursday, July 27 until Sunday, July 30, the Flavours of the World on Wheels food festival is taking over Plaza Adolfo Suárez.

Nine food trucks will transform the plaza into an incredible culinary journey, with food sellers serving authentic dishes directly from their stalls.

Guests are invited on a world tour through their taste buds.

According to event organiser Fabián D’angelo, expert chef crews will dish out Cuban, Mexican, German, Asian and other global food specialties. Dishes on offer include tacos, curry, egg rolls ­ all­American burgers and hot dogs.

Local councillor Presi Aguilera described it as “a magnificent chance to sample culinary arts from different countries, flavours that no one should miss.”

As well as food, the festival offers fun for the whole family. Live music and children’s attractions will complement the global dishes. Craft stalls will also offer handcrafted goods for browsing between bites.

With dishes from all continents, Benalmadena’s food truck extravaganza is an exciting summer activity. Locals and visitors can experience worldwide cuisine in one seaside setting.
