The province, for the time being, and until the end of the season, seems to be spared yet another year of the problems caused by the water deficit.

It seems surprising that in a province as arid as Almeria, which records so few days of rainfall throughout the year, water is not a summer problem.

Given that the reservoirs were at 15 per cent in June, it seems the good people of Almeria know how to use water sparingly.
