Celtic night

MIJAS PUEBLO Celtic Night returns on Saturday August 12 at the municipal auditorium and once again entry is free until capacity is reached with doors opening at 9pm.
This is always a high spot in the Mijas calendar although it had to be suspended for two years due to the pandemic.
The 2022 event was very well attended and it makes for a great free night out in the pretty little village perched high above the coast.
This year there will be three bands preforming, with the first to take to the stage being the Stolen Notes, apparently “the hardest and most rock and rollers", according to Miguel Gómez, from La Cochera Producciones, who are organising this event.
They will be followed by Los Stompers with the
Scottish dance group Nuala and finally Fernando Mosquera and his Celtic band.
Incredibly Mosquera plays no less than plays 70 instruments and composes in both Galician and Scottish style but will certainly play his much favoured bagpipes amongst other instruments.
