Rock around the clock
PREPARE for a rock ‘n’ roll extravaganza at the Festival of Legends at the Auditorio de Benalmadena this September.
On Friday, September 15, the venue will be a portal to the iconic era of rock and roll with three fantastic performances on the same stage.
The live show promises to transport guests to one of the most emblematic periods of music and remind you of the biggest hits that once topped the charts. The concert will feature renowned British singer, pianist, and guitarist Mike Sanchez, who is one of the most exciting and charismatic artists of rhythm and blues and rock 'n' roll on the Costa del Sol. His powerful and fre netic boogiewoogie has earned him fans all over the world and the attention of many rock and blues legends, including none other than Paul McCartney and Eric Clapton.

The fantastic band, the Howlin Ramblers will be also performing, along with a special tribute to Buddy Holly. Doors open at 7:30pm, before the show starts at 9pm at the Auditorio de Benalmadena.

To make life easier for visitors, the Mijas Council is organising a shuttle bus from the parking area to the Pueblo and back so there will be no worry about trying to find their way to the event.
IT’S time to brush off the dancing shoes for an exciting social event set to take place twice a week in Fuengirola at the Hotel Leonardo.

On Mondays and Wednesdays, starting from Monday, September 18, and Wednesday, September 27, guests can practice the art of dance and have a fantastic time with friends.
Every Monday, there will be tea dancing from 5pm until 7pm. The activity is open to the public, so all are invited for an afternoon of graceful moves and lively rhythms.
On Wednesdays, from 5pm until 6:30pm, there will also be a ballroom and sequence dancing class exclusively for U3A members.
Fancy footwork
However, new members are always welcome to join the class and experience the joy of dance.
Both classes are free of charge, but guests are kindly requested to purchase a drink.
