RICKY LAVAZZA brings sev en Decades of The Greatest Hits of Sir Tom Jones live on stage with special guests Eva Lloyd and Emma Prothero at the Salon Varietes Theatre in Fuengirola on Friday November 24 and Saturday

November 25 at 7.30pm. Ricky moved to the Costa del Sol in 2005, his combina tion of quality vocals and charisma quickly gained him recognition, and he was soon in demand all along the coast. Ricky was born in Taff’s Well, a small village in South Wales, known locally as ‘The Gate way to the Valleys’. Ricky trained professionally as a musical theatre per former, although these days he prefers to perform a plethora of material. He has an effortless style, and never takes himself too seriously. Constantly challenging him self and always eager to sur prise and delight his audience. His vocal capability is in comparable, his versatility unimaginable. His repertoire takes you from Kismet to The Killers. He never fails to give anything less than 100 per cent, and with the elusive and rare ability to really connect with his audience, his perfor mances are always truly un forgettable!

The epitome of thoughtful service at Max Beach Exceptional dining experience with Harry ARE you tired of the same old dining experiences that leave you feeling unappreciated and overlooked? Look no further, because we recently had the pleasure of dining at Max Beach in Riviera del Sol, and our experience was nothing short of exceptional, all thanks to the most considerate waiter we’ve ever encountered Harry! In a world where excellent customer service can be hard to come by, Harry truly stood out as a shining example of what it means to provide an extraordinary dining experi ence at Max Beach. From the moment we walked through the door, he made us feel like honoured guests, and his gen uine warmth and professional ism were evident throughout our entire meal. One of the first things that struck us about Harry was his attentiveness. He seemed to anticipate our needs before we even realised them our selves. From refilling our water

glasses promptly to ensuring our dishes arrived at the per fect temperature, he demon strated an unparalleled level of care and consideration that is truly rare in the service indus

try. Harry’s knowledge of the Max Beach menu was also im pressive. He was able to answer all of our questions, provide insight ful recommendations, and even accommodated special dietary requests without hesi tation. His expertise and pas sion for the food being served were palpable, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to our din ing experience. Perhaps what set Harry apart the most was his ability to create a personalised and

memorable experience for each guest at Max Beach. He took the time to engage in friendly conversation, making us feel like old friends rather than mere customers. His charming personality and gen uine interest in our dining ex perience elevated the evening to something truly special. But it wasn’t just our table Harry attended so skilfully as we couldn’t help but notice he treated every guest at Max Beach with the same level of care and consideration. It was heartwarming to witness his dedication to ensuring every one had an unforgettable time. In a world filled with fast paced, impersonal dining ex periences, Harry at Max Beach has reminded us of the value of exceptional service. His kind ness, professionalism, and un wavering commitment to making each guest feel valued have left an indelible impres sion on us. Dining at Max Beach with Harry as our waiter

was not just a meal; it was a truly remarkable experience. If you’re in search of a dining experience that goes above and beyond your expecta tions, we wholeheartedly rec ommend visiting Max Beach

and requesting Harry as your waiter. You’ll not only savour delicious cuisine but also bask in the warmth of his consider ate service. Thank you, Harry, for making our evening at Max Beach truly unforgettable!

Nirvana tribute GRUNGE: The Buzz Lovers work as the original power-trio.

By Kevin Fraser Park THE BUZZ LOVERS are a cover band that pays tribute to NIRVANA, recreating their music, their sound, their image. They will talk about the Torremolinos of the 40s and 50s and one of the main attractions of that time: flamenco. The tourist boom attracted thousands of tourists from

Spain and different nation alities to get to know Tor remolinos, its people, its gastronomy and its cul ture. Tablaos, nightclubs, tav erns and other venues opened their doors turn ing this town into an open showcase where the afi cionado and the tourist could see the best singing, guitar playing and dancing. The Tablao El Jaleo, opened in 1965 and is still active today under the name of Taberna Flamen ca Pepe López, was and is one of the most important venues in Torremolinos. The proximity of Malaga airport, the opening of renowned hotels, the opening of nightclubs... all of this contributed to Tor remolinos becoming an es sential part of the history of flamenco.

MARBELLA‘S International Theatre Studio is a nonprofit organisation established in 1975 and managed by a group of volunteers. For the first time, they are producing a fun, novelty 2024 calendar for charity. Some of their talented actors have volunteered to participate to raise money for a brilliant charity called the Ele na Gaite Foundation (Funda cion Elena Gaite). This charity was set up by the family and friends of Elena as a tribute to her. She was a devoted moth er and wife, much loved by her whole family, who sadly lost her long battle to cancer in 2020. The foundation raises money for local charities and worthy causes such as Cudeca, Debra for children with Butter fly Skin, Avol, and more. Cabaret in Marbella By Brian Bamford SET in Europe in the 1930s. The plot of Cabaret revolves around the romance of a young club singer with an inspiring American. But undoubtedly the best contribu tion in this masterpiece is the use of songs and musical numbers in keeping with its purpose of establishing a par allel between the musical life of the clubs of the time and what is happen ing in the street. And how the songs come to be a tragic and ironic com mentary on the outside world. This musical returns to the Teatro Ciudad de Marbella, where it pre miered, to close the tour of a show that has already been enjoyed by more than 30,000 spectators throughout Spain. With live musicians and an im pressive staging that will delight every one who goes to see this spectacular musical show created in Marbella.
