All of my paperwork and my passport has been checked and I am The journey from Malta was really ready to meet long, so first I am going to take everyone. some time out in The Sensory Room. It is so relaxing here!
It's cold outside The change in temperature has been a shock! It is so cold here in England. Miss Gower has ordered me a lovely winter coat to wear. That should keep me warm. Luckily the heating is on in school, so it was nice and warm. It was so lovely to meet the pupils, they gave me a tour of the school.
Look who I bumped in to! It was so good to meet Snap. Ms Cini and her pupils had told me all about him. Snap has visited so many schools and met so many different pupils, I am really looking forward to visiting them too. First I am going to enjoy my time at The Observatory School.

Hello greece I just arrived in Giannitsa and ran straight to the 2nd Primary School. Wow! It’s really big ! (almost 340 pupils, they say) I had to go upstairs and find the 3rd graders.
At the headteacher’s office First stop at the headteacher’s office. He was so busy working with the school’s secretary , but still he was very kind and curious to know everything about me.
First visit at the 3rd grade classroom The 3rd graders were waiting for me and gave me my first presents.
First visit at the 3rd grade classroom They even gave me a “Martisbracelet. It is made of red and white string and is tied onto the wrist.Folk superstition has that people wear these bracelets so that the sun of early spring does not burn their cheeks ,so the teacher said.
Studying I stayed with my new friends during their Maths lesson,Environmental studies and of course English. To tell you the truth,Greek language is not as difficult as you think!
GRatitude cards The kids decided to make a Thank you card to show their gratitude to their friends in class, their teachers(for their patience)and guess what,to me,for paying them a visit.I felt so awkward ...
During recess The kids couldn’t wait for recess and the chance to get out of the class.Especially in spring ,when the weather in Greece is sunny and warm, recess is fun time. We shared our snack, that is traditional Greek round sesame bread, called koulouri.
IN THE TEACHERS’OFFICE I checked the project’s page feeling nostalgic about home and eager to start writing on my diary.
NEW FRIENDS I couldn’t believe in my eyes when the kids introduced me to the toys they had brought from home just to meet me.
SPECIAL HELP TO SPECIAL KIDS I couldn’t miss the chance to enter this special classroom, where a special teacher gives extra help to kids with special needs or learning disabilities.
Presents...just for me I received so much love with many drawings and a small badge that I felt so good!!!

We love Covilhã because it is a nice city and a very beautiful place to live in. Sometimes referred to as town of wool and snow, Covilhã is one of the main urban centres of the historical Beira Interior region. The proximity of the mountains offers dramatic scenery and a great environment for those fond of hiking, camping, mountain climbing and skiing. The climate in Covilhã is Mediterranean, moderately cold in Winter and relatively warm during Summer. There is the Vodafone Ski Resort, the only ski resort in Portugal.
