WORKING EXPERIENCE Graphic Designer, Fiala & Šebek Prague 2013 Working on packaging design for major brands as Tesco, Amundsen, Stock... Freelance Designer Prague/Bratislava 2012–2013 Working mostly on branding and web design, for example for a photographer, me&m clothing... Graphic Designer, IQ Design Studio Bratislava 2007–2012 Mostly working on packaging design, print, advertising. OBJECTIVE I studied marketing communication and also graphics at art school. I like to combine these two worlds – art and advertising into a combo, that looks good but is also functional and can sell the product. More than in school, I learned during the 6 years of working in a graphic studio, under the guidance of my older colleagues, working mostly on print and package design. As a freelance designer I started to focus more on branding, web design and work on my own non-commercial projects, publishing zines, creating t-shirts and prints for my brand Trú... I am ready to work on challenging projects, work hard and have fun with it, because I believe that good design can really make a difference.

A zine that we created for our project called TrĂş, with artwork collected from our friends and self-published. I created the layout, graphic design and typography and it also features my illustrations. You can see it online here here.

TrĂş is a project of Barbora IdesovĂĄ and me. We created this brand to promote our illustrations and also to sell our T-shirts, prints, illustrations etc. You can see our work here here.

A simple website for TrĂş, more comming soon. You can see it here here.

Logo design for a blog about old bicycles.

Brand design for a fashion line by Paulina Vinter. My task was to create a minimalist logotype and design, with a Scandinavian feel. I also created the web design and the stationary. Everything is very subtle to create a suitable background for the clothes, that are mostly white and very minimal.

Katarína Križanovičová is a photographer, who needed a new web site. I created a whole new identity for her, including a logo, web design, stationary. It is based on her photos and is easy to apply it to any medium by using stickers.

The small Czech town called Žlutice requested a new logo, identity and a website to communicate with tourists, citizens and investors. They wanted to emphasize the history of the town, but create an identity here that would be modern and understood by a wide range of people. You can see more here.

The goal was to create packaging for a line of child skin care products to be sold in pharmacies. I created the illustrations, graphic design and a brochure with children poems.

Mister T is a concept design for a T-shirt. The assignment of this project was to create a T-shirt using a Slovak proverb. I chose a proverb saying: There is no cake without work. I created a T-shirt with a white silhouette, that needed to be decorated by the owner, to become a character. To do that, there is here a set of badges, you can combine as you wish. You can check it out here.

Packaging design for Bryndza Pastorale, a traditional Slovak sheep cheese to be sold in foreign countries.

Logo and microsite for a non-profit organization, that works with schools, teachers and students to promote social responsibility. You can see the website here.

Brochure for a developers project called The Liptovian Arch, offering weekend houses in the Slovak nature.

I worked on the design for a number of events organised in a culture centre in Bratislava. For the events Retro, Swing Time and Fight Club I created the corporate visual style, that was used mostly within facebook, posters and flyers.

Me&the gradient skies is a blog of Paulina Vinter, who is a fashion designer living in Stockholm. I created a simple design and a logo that goes well with her brand me&m.

A few logotypes. For a language school, a nonprofit organization, bakery, design toys, automobile club, handmade jewellery, developers project and illustrator duo.

Packaging design proposition for a new premium range of dog food called Best Breeder.

A redesign proposition for Budweiser Budvar beer.

In the old times, DevĂn used to be a legendary hotel in Bratislava. I redesigned the old logotype, created a new corporate design and a campaign based on its old glory, with the headline: “We reconstructed everything, but the best things remainedâ€?.

I created the new design for packaged soups Carpathia and also worked on p.o.s. materials and advertising.

Bupi was one of my long term clients while working in IQ design studio. I worked on advertising, prints and packaging. I also created the design for a new line of products to be sold in pharmacies as a mutation of the original line.

My field of study at art school was illustration. This is a selection of my works. I often work with ink, liners, watercolours... But I also use vector illustration often. Other than that, I create objects using the technique of needle felting.

You can check out the whole book here here.
