INTRODUCTION
Hi.
I’m Evan
I am a Website Designer at intelligentgolf. I graduated Nottingham Trent University having studied Product Design BSc. During my placement year, I worked as a Content Editor at intelligentgolf and my love for sport and design led me back.
During my time at university, and now in industry, I have developed many skills that help in me in my work. In every project I strive to create the right concept for the situation.

WEBSITE DESIGN
intelligentgolf Website Designer
Since 2023
Since September 2023, I have been the Website Designer for intelligentgolf, a market leader in golf clubs systems and websites. I have had the chance to work with some of the biggest names in golf including Royal County Down, The new Golf Club (St Andrews), Cornwall Golf Union and many more.
Included are some of my favourite designs that clubs have gone with and used for to market themselves.
Castlerock Golf Club 2024
Based just outside Londonderry, NI, Castlerock has been awarded Ireland’s “Hidden Gen” for link golf on the North Coast.
The website has been built to be responsive for all screen sizes and was created in intelligentgolf’s own CMS using my designs that were signed off by the club.
UNIVERSITY
Nottingham Trent University Product Design BSc
For my major project in my final year at university, I designed a recovery band to alleviate the effects of delayed onset muscle soreness.
The project combined my love for sport and well being with minimalist design. To develop the project further, I designed an app to control the device and provide additional information on how a user could look after their body.
Having spent my placement year at intelligentgolf, I also took some time to design and build a website that would be used to promote the ‘Pulse Recovery Band’. The app and website both used branding materials created by myself that represented the product.
As part of the deliverables, the product was made physically and digitally. There were two physical models made. One was for aesthetic purposes the other for practical purposes. The practical module included tenses pads to provide the electrotherapy and heat pads, to provide the heat-therapy for the muscles.
The digital model was created using Solidworks and rendered using Keyshot. For the app, I used Adobe XD and the website, Visual Studio.

2021
Whilst at university in Nottingham I was commissioned to create a series of marketing posters for social media to promote upcoming sport camps.
NTU Men’s Hockey Club Social Media
2020 - 2023
As part of my role in the Men’s Hockey Club at NTU as Club Secretary, I created assets for the club’s social media. These were mostly targeted for Instagram and were made to promote upcoming fixtures and club announcements.
I would often work with the Women’s club to create assets for their social media pages so that any joint efforts were consistent across the two clubs.

Sports Marketing 2021
Inspired by my roles at NTU Men’s Hockey Club and in my Freelance work, I have often created instagram posts to commemorate sporting accomplishments.
Videography 2022
In 2022, I was lucky enough to have access to a drone. Whilst on holiday is Pembrokeshire, Wales, I took this opportunity to experiment and see what I could create. I taught myself Premier Pro and stitched together the content.
Runna 2024
Whilst browsing Linked-in, I saw a post by Runna for a Designer. Part of the application was to create an asset in the style of Runna for their social media. It had to be a static post and be suitable for Instagram.
