Intercultural Church Unity, Intercultural Churches & Intercultural Justice
Who? The One People Commission is a body of key national leaders committed to celebrating diversity while promoting unity in order to share the transformational good news of Jesus Christ.
What?
· To build and foster friendships amongst one another and diverse senior church leaders;
· pray together, inspire and learn from one another in love;
· create a safe place for all to share best practices;
· raise transformational leaders; and
· host tables on issues of justice, get involved in decision-making and influence policies.
Why?
· Churches and denominations need to be places where young adults are engaged, valued, mentored and discipled to follow Jesus and to become leaders in both the church and society.
· We want to identify, recognise and celebrate young leaders.
· We want to be intentional about reaching and moving this generation to become the leaders of today and tomorrow.
When/How?
· We would meet every 1–2 months and hold a yearly event.
