Client Testimonials For the last twenty seven years I have lived in this fabulous small island which for years I had observed from my previous home off Brickell Avenue by Biscayne Bay. I never thought I would one day moved from there but as life has it my husband was gone in minutes one night of a massive heart attack. One year later, deciding that it was time to move on I thought of Grove Isle. In my search I contacted Joan Sporn, David's mother and a warm and beautiful lady who showed me a couple of apartments. Worried about the cost of buying an apartment without being familiar with the location, Joan suggested that I rent for no more than six months as she knew that Grove Isle and I were made for each other. She knew that I would find the comfort and safety needed as a woman now living alone. The rental, an open kitchen apartment on the 17 floor of building Three worked well and as I was beginning to wonder what would be my next step, here comes Joan inviting me to see a smaller apartment in building One, just vacated but in very poor condition. Aware that it would need serious remodeling I negotiated the price to something I could afford. After tearing down walls and building ample closets I was ready to enjoy my new place. It was not to last. In less than two years I get a call from a Joan asking me if she could show the apartment. Surprised I asked what would happen if I got an offer to which Joan smiled reassuring me I had nothing to worry. Sure enough, two days later I received an acceptable offer and a month later I was closing on a much larger apartment on the 010 line. This process repeated itself, except that the next offer was presented by David Sporn after Joan had retired to North Carolina. I must say that his mother trained David well. By then my aspiration was to find an 01 apartment with bay view on the less sunny side of the building. I have lived in such an apartment in building Two for the last seven years. My time at Grove Isle has gone by fast and without any serious concerns. Dealing with the Sporns, both mother and son have gone without a glitch. I have lived in every building front, back, PH, in the smallest and largest floors never having signed a sales contract with them. David knows how my life style reflects on my apartments and at times show them once I have given the authorization.
