At Toro, he masterfully melds Pan Latin cuisine, one of the top cuisines in the world known for its unique flavor profiles, taking inspiration from all of Latin America, particularly with South American, Japanese Peruvian (Nikkei) and Chinese Peruvian (Chifa) influences. Toro’s Executive Chef, César Cervantes Castillo prepares this full ranging menu from cocas-style mushroom flatbread and tomato-watermelon salad to mollejita anticucho (Low temperature cooked sweet bread skewers), achiote BBQ Atlantic salmon and Toro’s signature 32-ounce bone-in cowboy ribeye. Sous Chef, Iram Bojorquez will help to skillfully prepare ceviche, appetizers and chef specialties such as hamachi tiradito, steak tartare and miso BBQ deep sea fish. The restaurant’s décor is industrial yet welcoming, combining both modern and rustic finishes. Reclaimed wood was used to create layers of texture, while the vaulted ceilings provide an open and revitalizing atmosphere. The 195-seat restaurant also features a true wood-burning grill to add visual entertainment and tradition to the dining experience. Adjacent to the main dining room, the patio offers a picturesque landscape amidst warm coloring, lounge-style seating and a fire pit. It’s the ideal setting for taking in the gorgeous Cabo San Lucas weather.

CIGAR ROLLER We arrive early to set up a display table with antiques and cigar artifacts. We bring traditional rolling tools, bunches of raw tobacco, stories and knowledge on the history of cigars, how the cigar is constructed, etc. This is a hugely popular experience and favorite of event planners. $11,000 pesos per roller per hour.
