Message from the Board Chair and Director
Dear Neighbors,
In 2021, we were all affected by the lingering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. With all the changes that have unfolded in daily life, we are proud to stand by EvergreenHealth Monroe to support our joint mission of working together to enrich the health and well-being of every life we touch.
Our Foundation is supported by a strong group of volunteer Board of Trustees, who made direct and impactful investments throughout 2021 to enhance the care and services at EvergreenHealth Monroe. We did not do this alone. The growth and impact of the EvergreenHealth Monroe Foundation are only made possible by the vast array of support from our patients, local community, staff, and sponsoring businesses. Together, through their intentional giving, we were able to provide support for new mobile ventilators, GYN stretcher, rapid blood infuser, EKG machines, nursing education funds, and bus tickets for patients needing help with transportation.
The Foundation’s signature fundraising event, Blue Jeans and Boots Gala, was again held virtually due to COVID-19 restrictions. The weeklong virtual experience featured a robust silent auction and a virtual program. Funds raised through the Gala supported a new state-of-the-art digital imaging suite that delivers the highest quality imaging, advanced technology for less radiation exposure to the patient, and returned fluoroscopy services to EvergreenHealth Monroe. Thank you to everyone who supported the Gala and made it a resounding success.
In 2022, our Foundation looks forward to hosting our first in-person Gala in three years on September 23, 2022.
