Dear Everlasting Covenant Ministries Family, Indeed, we are experiencing an unusual and uncertain time with regard to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic that has impacted the entire world. As mentioned in sermons and inspirational messages, this worldwide virus scare is a call to prayer for the nation. We have concluded that ECM should join in this universal prayer vigil by sharing this prayer booklet, which will serve as our spiritual direction during this turbulent time and afterwards. The plan for this time of individual and corporate prayer is to have us all engaged in prayer three times each day (morning, noon and evening). As we pray in concert for ourselves, our loved ones, the church and the world remember God is the same … yesterday …today and forever more. His word will never return unto Him void. This specific quest for prayer is based on the acronym: G.U.I.D.E., which references prayers for: G – Gratitude U – Understanding I – Intercession D – Devotion E – Exaltation With the pages that follow, it is our hope that you will use the prayers, meditations and Scriptures as your guide to praying earnestly for healing, restoration and a mighty move of God as He answers prayers. Additionally, once healed, once restored, once revived, we must be about our Father’s business and continue the Great Commission and make disciples. Please know: we are praying for you and your family to be in good health. God will provide and sustain your household so that you will prosper spiritually in this season. Your Pastors, Rev. Lisa H. Prayer of Gratitude Scriptures: “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7, NKJV “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18, KJV “And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.” Colossians 3:17, KJV Prayer of Understanding Scriptures : “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. 7Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil. 8It will be health to your flesh, and strength to your bones. 9Honor the LORD with your possessions, and with the first fruits of all your increase; 10So your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.” Proverbs 3:5-10, NKJV 6
“Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but one who has a hasty temper exalts folly.” Proverbs 14:29, NRSV “He who has knowledge spares his words, and a man of understanding is of a calm spirit.” Proverbs 17:27, NKJV Prayer of Intercession Scriptures: “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.” 1 Timothy 2:1-6, KJV

“But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.” Luke 22:31, KJV “Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Mathew 18:19-20, KJV Prayer of Devotion Scriptures: “No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” Luke 16:13, NKJV “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17, NKJV “Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5, NKJV Prayer of Exaltation Scriptures: “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. 2 My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; the humble shall hear of it and be glad. 3 Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together. 4 I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. 5 They looked to Him and were radiant, and their faces were not ashamed. 6 This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. 7 The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them. 8 Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; BLESSED is the man who trusts in Him! 9 Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him. 10 The young lions lack and suffer hunger; but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.” Psalm 34:1-10, NKJV

“Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, 2 fulfill my joy by being likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. 3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. 4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. 5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:1-11, NKJV

The Prayer of Repentance for Our Nation: Almighty God, we thank and praise You for Your everlasting mercy and grace poured out upon our nation each and every day. You have delivered us in times of trouble and war, reunited us after conflicts among ourselves, and filled our lives with such abundance that Your blessings overflow all borders. Yet still, we have taken You for granted. We come before You now in desperate need of Your mercy and forgiveness. We confess that the liberty You so graciously gave us has become a license to do as we please. Our culture mocks You. Our highest courts have esteemed itself above Your Word. We have traded genuine spirituality for temporary pleasure and true virtue for temporary hollow celebrity status. We have taught our children self-indulgence yet stand mystified at how much blood is on their hands. We lust after material things yet wonder why our souls are empty and constantly felling a void. We lament the walls that divide us, even as we segregate ourselves one from another. Revive us today, O’Lord. Your presence is our only hope. Impart in us Your passion for good over evil. As we humble ourselves and seek Your face, forgive us O’God, and heal us indeed. Heal our land of the coronavirus and heal every other physical and social illness according to Your will and Your way. Make us one, that America would be the land You envisioned from the very beginning...a beacon of hope for the world, people free to serve You and each other in genuine love. In the name of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob we pray this prayer and declare Glory unto You - in the name of Jesus. AMEN. Prayer of Protection (Psalm 91) I thank You Father, O’Most High God, for blessing me to dwell in Your secret place, under the shadow of Your wings of protection, in true intimacy with You, embraced and sheltered by Your power and Your precious love. I confess and say unto You, O’Lord, that You alone are my refuge, my fortress, and my place of protection from danger and distress. You are also my stronghold and my defense against my enemies. You are the only God in whom I serve. And only in You will I confidently place my trust. I trust not in my own abilities, nor in my own wisdom or strength; but I trust in You, O’Lord, to deliver me from the snares, traps and the deceptive, sinful temptations and entanglements of the enemy, Satan. You are my deliverer from every sickness, disease, and pestilence (especially this coronavirus). I thank You Lord for covering me with Your strong arm of safety, warmth and love – which places me far out of the reach and grasp of my enemies. The truth and power of Your Word is my defense, my shield and my protection which endureth forever. Because I dwell in Your secret place, I shall not be afraid of the spiritual dangers of demonic tactics nor attacks of Satan; nor shall I be afraid of the plots of the wicked (people) that Satan would influence and use to fight against me. Neither shall I worry, fret nor be afraid of unseen and unknown catastrophic disasters or deadly diseases; nor of sudden death or destruction of my life, or destruction of Your blessings in my life. For You alone is Lord God Almighty. Even though many fall to the temptations and destruction of the enemy on one side, and tens of thousands suffer lack and are afflicted with sickness, disease and other calamities on the other side, none of these evils shall fall upon or come near me nor my family as long as we stay in line with Your will and Your way. I see with my eyes the punishable rewards and destruction of the wicked and the unjust, but I pray O’Lord that You would give me the strength to not partake in their disobedience and sufferings.
I declare and decree no evil shall be able to fall upon or touch me, and no sickness or disease can come upon me, or even come near my home or family. I thank You Father for commanding Your angels to watch over me and protect me wherever I go. They are encamped in a hedge of protection around me. They shall preserve me, defend me, and keep me safe from all hurt, harm and danger. I thank You Lord for giving me power and authority in Christ Jesus over every demon and devil. And, because I am hid in Christ in heavenly places, even as Christ has all things under His feet, I also have all things under my feet. And therefore, even the demonic and satanic principalities, powers, and wicked spirits in high places are trampled under my feet. Because I have set my heart upon You, to love You and serve You with all of my heart, my soul, my strength and might; And, because I reverence You, and worship Your holy, mighty, majestic, precious and glorious name, You shall deliver me from every attack of the enemy, and none of Satan’s weapons shall prosper against me. I make my habitation and dwelling place in You, O’Lord, whenever I am in trouble of any kind, and I need to call upon You for my help. I know, You will be right there as always to answer me, and guide me with Your mighty hand of deliverance. You will show me the salvation of the Lord by blessing me with a long, healthy, safe and prosperous life, and restore unto me the joy of my salvation. Help me O’Lord to embrace Your will and Your way. Have thine own way, now and forever more, in Jesus’ name AMEN! Prayer of Pleading the Blood “7
And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it. 8 And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it. 9 Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof. 10 And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire. 11 And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the Lord's passover. 12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord. 13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.” (Exodus 12:7-13, KJV). “11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” (Revelation 12:11, KJV). Satan, Jesus who shed His blood on Calvary is my Lord. Let the blood of Jesus speak victory, health, and wellness into this nation afflicted by coronavirus. I smear the blood of Jesus on the doorpost of our home, and every home of believers, all religious properties, and everything under God’s authority…this is the great Passover. Coronavirus, you are rebuked and cannot touch the things of God nor the people of God in Jesus’ name. AMEN!!! Some of this adopted from the article “The Blood of Jesus as a Weapon” on The Refuge of Righteousness by Fren Poyser, http://refugeofrighteousness.com/using-the-blood-of-jesus-as-a-weapon/

Prayer of Putting on the Whole Armor Heavenly Father, I put on the whole armor of God, and I stand against all the wiles of the devil, that I may withstand him in the evil day. Therefore: • I put on my helmet of salvation. • I have on the breastplate of righteousness. • My loins are girted about with truth. • My feet are shod with the preparation of peace. • I take the shield of faith to quench every fiery dart of the wicked one. • I have the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. • I have prayed on my armor. Therefore, Satan, you and your evil spirits see the armor, and you cannot touch or attack me with this coronavirus. I plead the blood of Jesus over my life, my house, my family, my community, my loved ones … in Jesus’ name AMEN!!!
