ABOUT ME
I spent most of the time doing the daily routine which was feeding and cleaning. I helped to improve the outside area by raking it. I enjoyed bathing the kittens.
FREE TIME
ACCOMMODATION
We had an apartment in Bugibba which had two bedrooms for four of us. Our apartment was at the side of the pool and 30 minutes from the cat sanctuary.
WHAT DID I LEARN PROFESSIONALLY?
WHAT DID I LEARN PERSONALLY?
I learnt how to cope in a different working environment and how to communicate with different people. Also, I learnt how to give kittens medicine in the most appropriate way.
Personally, I learnt how different it is working in a cat sanctuary to a cattery in England. I learnt how different the routines were compared to England.
My name is Bethany. I’m 17 and from Wakefield. I’m studying a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management: Science. I am passionate about working with animals.
A BETHANY in MALT Animals
My favourite activities were swimming with the dolphins and horse riding along the coast. Also, learning the history of the Knights of Mdina and trying traditional Maltese food.
