THE PROJECT
I worked at a donkey sanctuary. I cared for the donkeys including: feeding, cleaning their accommodation, and forming relationships with them.
ACCOMMODATION
During my visit to De Palm Island I went snorkelling. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life!
When I wasn’t busy working I would write a blog about the project from the apartment.
WHAT DID I LEARN PROFESSIONALLY?
WHAT DID I LEARN PERSONALLY?
I learnt how to handle larger animals, as I’m used to handling smaller animals. I also learnt more about a donkey’s behaviour.
I have developed more tolerance towards people whilst living in close proximity with them.
