EDUCATIONAL WORK Core business = weekly classes and holiday courses
Some figures from last year 2012-2013: • 950 members followed a weekly course, good for 873 lessons • They could choose from 50 courses • 177 children followed holiday circuscamps, range 2013-2014 = 950 + 177 = 1127 members

ARTISTIC WORK Some of the productions and artistic events WirWar: The first real production group Kronkel : 2005: tour in Slovenia "Tent exhibition" 2006: creation “Scholl" 2008: guest at circus festivals in Reus Trapezi (Spain) and Hanover (Germany) Youth Circus at its best! Artishock: premiere in 2005 with "Link" With "Roof-Ă -Dance" including traveling to Amsterdam and Hannover Touche: had a relatively short life with "Charleston" (2006-2009) was a guest in Estonia and Bremen Circus United: an international exchange with Germany and Sweden Lokomotiv: This percussion collectively managed to record a CD and performed in Hungary, Slovenia and Croatia Dynamo: the now not so little brother of Lokomotiv. Since 2006 the most successful commercial production group 2008: some 20 performances in their own country and a guest at a festival in Russia 2009: Dynamo guest in New York

ARTISTIC WORK Some of the productions and artistic events • 2007: International youth circus festival "CirkOOH! CirkAAH” in Leuven with guests from Belgium, Estonia, Russia, Portugal and Slovenia The Fiere Margriet: semi-professional production, made at the request of the City of Leuven Tupolev: because the enthusiasm was still high after shutting down Lokomotiv! The Madammen from Ipanema: because also adults like to perform • 2008 : Several circus projects tailored to the plot, Leuven in Scene for Red Dog and our own 15th anniversary "Cirkus in Motion treats" launch three new production groups: WOK, ZigZag and the Air Guard new animation act “de Haantjes” • 2009 : Start new semi-professional production "BATS!" and we'll see how it evolves with “Molotov” and “De Madammen, part II”

ARTISTIC WORK • Ideas can be worked out during weekly "workshop“ this year on Friday.
• For a number of production groups there are (two) weekly production repetions. • All artistic activities are supervised by the "artistic team."

Everyone gets the opportunity and is encouraged to artistically express to work together on an artistic product it to come out and share these experiences • Anyone who wants to help us on our way to further professionalisation. • We want to put circus arts on the cultural map in our area.

SOCIAL WORK Cirkus in Beweging would also be accessible to: children with physical barriers (Down, autism, motor problems) families with financial difficulties children from institutions like The Mirror, Terwende disadvantaged children (Fabota ...) Cirkus in Beweging also aims to play for and work with non-profit organizations. Cirkus in Motion wants to connected and encourage people of all ages, and of all countries. The social approach runs like a thread throughout our operation.

SOCIAAL LUIK Overview of social projects and operation • 2005 : Circus Project in Essaouirri, Morocco: up playgrounds Circus Project in Bahia, Ecuador: purchase and supply circus equipment Employment volunteer in De Spiegel • 2006 : De Karavaan : circus project i.s.m. various neighborhood effects in Leuven (including Fabota, Drum, Casablanca, The Tube) Palestina in the Rink: Help with initial start-Palestinian Circus School by means delivery circus equipment, setup syllabus for "trick sharing" and fund raising Workshops for children with psychiatric problems, included in UZ Gasthuisberg. • 2007 : Piste Olé : collaboration between CIB Windekind and residential home Ed. Remy, for children with and without disabilities and seniors. Workshops i.s.m. the children from the reception center for asylum seekers in Steenokkerzeel Weekly classes in Centre West, for disadvantaged young people in Jean.

SOCIAAL LUIK Overview of social projects and operation • 2008 : Cooperation with Mobile School: theme week about "street circus" Fabota on stilts: start a cooperation plan for the next five years Circus 'multi-culti': start of a new experimental school-wide, along with non-native adults of the Open School and children from SKLO and Parkschool Monte Rosa: circus project for Youth Care, smaller children and their parents Circus Project with residents of Huize Monnikenheide Zoersel, adults with mental disabilities. • 2009 : continuation of the above projects + Large increase of “special” children in the weekly lessons. Through projects like Fabota, Monte Rosa, children find their own way to the circus school!

SOCIAL WORK Evolution In the past: the initiative and demand usually came from other organizations Lately: passive attitude has evolved into a more active one. Cirkus in Motion wants to be more initiator and creator of social projects such as Piste Ole, Fabota on stilts, Multi Culti ... After all, we know the power of circus as an educational tool for social groups! Evolution of one-off projects to long-term collaborations Example : Fabota To this end, we need a permanent employee needs, as a contact person for the partners, for a thorough evaluation of each project.
