Analisys of survery done after the second stage „Maths in vehicle” by all countries of project „Maths around us” December 2016


Number of participants: • Poland: 12 students (7 girls, 5 boys) teachers: 3 • Spain: • Italy: 12 students (7 girls, 5 boys)2 teachers • Turkey: 12 students (4 girls,8 boys) 2 teachers • Bulgaria: 21students(12 girls, 9 boys) teachers: 4


Improving language skills- conclusions: POLAND • According to students they achieved high level in communication with foreign peers, • 50% think they improved the skills in creating written texts, • the most useful skill is communication with their foreign peers, conclusion: more reading texts, more skype conversation


Improving language skills- conclusions: Bulgaria • Students believe they have improved their skills in English • More of them still have difficulties in verbal and written communication in English • Difficult to think in a foreign language • Conclusion: They should write more free texts, to carry out research tasks and communicate through various programs with their peers from other countries


Improving language skills- conclusions: Spain • According to students they achieved high level in communication with the students, they have some communication problems with the families. • 80% think they improved the skills in creating written texts and speaking. • Conclusion: They should write more free texts, to carry out research tasks and communicate through various programs with their peers from other countries. They ask more skype conection.


Improving language skills- conclusions: Italy • According to the students they have improved the ability to dialogue and listening in English. • Not everyone has reached an excellent level, they need more time. • Conclusion: it is necessary to strengthen the peer relationships of the different countries, through more reading texts, more skype .


Improving language skills- conclusions: Turkey • Students became aware of the importance of learning foreign language • They mostly think that they developed their language skills • Some of them have still difficulty in international communication speaking skills Conclusion:To improve language skills ,they should communicate more effectively with foreign peers via skype or other technological devices.

According to students they developed their Maths skills, • the best tasks were connected with changing the units, specially speed, these tasks they regard as the most useful, • they had problems with reading the charts and creating maths texts tasks conclusion: to motivate students there should be more practical tasks, and more tasks developing skills they had problems with.


Improving maths skills- conclusions: Bulgaria • Students love challenges and research tasks • For them was useful and enjoyable to do calculations for traveling • They achieved the new level of confidens in maths tasks • conclusion: to solve the problems related to time, velocity and way was very important in their own practical life


Improving maths skills- conclusions: Spain • According to students they improved their Maths skills. • The best tasks were connected with the design of diferent way to go to Lovech. • They like more practical task. conclusion: to motivate students there should be more practical tasks.

Improving maths skills- conclusions: Turkey • Most of the students have understood the connection between issues such as speed, average speed,way,time etc.. • They improved Maths skills by perceiving Math issues in the surrounding world. • According to students , to do calculations and to solve Math tasks was useful and enjoyable. Conclusion: more acquired Math skills to use in real world.


Improving ICT skills- conclusions: POLAND • according to students they achieved high level ICT skills in the project, • ICT application they appreciate the most is Monkey Jam, • ICT activities they regard as very interesting, conclusion: next group of students should have similar tasks to get them interested with new apps.


Improving lCT skills- conclusions: Bulgaria • Students love computer games, but met some difficulties in the use of computer applications. • They liked Hot Potatoes, Monkey Jam, Taxgedo, but continue to use programs that are easier for them, like Paint, etc. • Conclusions: computing applications require more time and additional training hours.


Improving ICT skills- conclusions: Spain • According to students they achieved high level ICT skills in the APPs used during the Project. • ICT application they appreciate the most is hot potatoe. • ICT activities they regard as very interesting, Conclusion: we need practice to be good at different applications.


Improving lCT skills- conclusions: Italy • Students developed their ICT abilities working via computer and Internet; • ICT activities they regard as very interesting; • ICT application they appreciate the most is Hot Potatoes and Taxgedo. • Conclusion: more practice is needed to be good at different applications, for additional training hours.

The students find them interesting • They mostly preferred using the applications they used to such as movie maker,paint and camtasia studio Conclusion: more practice is needed to be good at different applications

astudents worked mainly in pairs or groups, problems were solved by oral communucation, they can appreciate the pluses of cooperation, they were not able to point the weknesses of cooperation. conclusion: before tasks make a series of conversation about rules of cooperation and try to change students woking always together


Improving social skills- conclusions: Bulgaria • Students from 7th grade coped with the tasks of the second stage of the project • They worked in pairs or in small groups • They,with teachers help, distributed tasks per each month and every week do a part of the work.Still can not lead a task to finish alone on its own • Conclusion: there is a problem with the responsibility for a preparation of materials and preliminary study of the objects that we study


Improving social skills- conclusions: Spain • Students worked mainly in pairs or groups. • They choose the studets so they hadn´t got lot problems. Problems were solved by oral communucation. • They can appreciate the pluses of cooperation. They used to work with teams so they did it nice. conclusion: It is interesting before tasks make a series of conversation about rules of cooperation and try to change students woking always together


Improving social skills- conclusions: Italy • Students worked mainly in pairs or groups; • they can appreciate the pluses of cooperation; • They had opportunity to exchange opinions and experience. • Conclusion: the group activities helps to improve relations and to share ideas and experiences.


Improving social skills- conclusions: Turkey • Students worked mainly in pairs or groups • They had opportunity to exchange opinions and experience • They had possibility to meet and to solve tasks in international groups. Conclusion : each student in groups should be aware of the responsibility that he/she has while completing the tasks.


General questions: POLAND • all students regarded project meetings as interesting and involving, • most of them think that due to project they could develop their passions and hobby, • the most interesting we ICT activities, • students definetely gained knowledge about project countries, • the most difficult were Maths activities, conclusions: more practical and interesting maths tasks and use the feedback after activity.


General questions: Bulgaria • All students are proud to be involved in the project • They like tasks and interesting studies that they do • They have become a little more responsible people as a result of his work on the second part of the project • Conclusions: The use of ICT applications in solving of maths problems is the most difficult part of the job. • The use of feedback is another difficuilt task.


General questions: Spain • All students are proud to be involved in the project. • They like tasks and interesting studies that they do. Travel was the most interesting task for them. • They have become a little more responsible people as a result of his work on the project. • Students developed a variety of skills to cope with many tasks. • They became more open-minded in social way • The use of feedback is a difficuilt task. General questions: Italy • Students have improved the basic skills; • the comparison with peers was positve for the knowledge of other cultures; • they enjoyed the activities with ICT; • linguists have improved skills; • they have approached the math homework with greater interest.


General questions: Turkey • Students developed a variety of skills to cope with many tasks. • All students feel lucky to take part in the project • They became more open-minded in social way • According to students the most entertaining part is ICT activities


Level of students satisfaction: POLAND • Students were eager to work and learn, • they think they were very active, • they liked the atmoshphere during the project working, conclusions: we still have to remember to create involving and interesting tasks and involve each students in all activitis more or less as the same level.


Level os students’ satisfaction: Bulgaria • The students have the knowledge that they are doing something meaningful and important • Each subsequent stage of the project makes them more confident • The joy of communicating with children from other countries charging them with confidence that they do their best in partnership.


Level of students’ satisfaction: Italy • • • •

All students are enthusiastic about the project; they were happy to meet with peers; they have improved in the socialization; they felt important at various stages of the project.


Level of students’ satisfaction: Spain • They liked the atmoshphere during the project working and the responsability (sending the task on time). • They liked to know new people from diferent cultures. • They were all enthusiastic about the stage and tried to do their best.


Level of students satisfaction: Turkey • All students were so glad to have opportunity to develop their social and cooperative skills • They were all enthusiastic about the stage and tried to do their best. • Through taking an active role in the project the students gained self-confidence.


Improving Language Skills – conclusions: It is necessary to strengthen the peer relationships through more reading texts, more communication sessions via Skype and other Internet pletphorms.


Improving Maths Skills – conclusions: Students are motivated to do Maths tasks, because of their importance in real world. They should manage to solve the tasks developing skills students had problem with.


Improving ICT skills – conclusions: Next group of students should have similar tasks to get them interested with new apps. Computing applications require more time and additional training hours.


Improving social skills – conclusions: Before tasks make a series of conversations about rules of cooperation and have to insist from students working always together. Each student in groups should be awere of responsibility that he/she has while completing the tasks.


Answers of general questions: Students definitely gained knowledge about project countries. The teams accepted the idea to use the feedback after each stage of the project.


Level of students satisfaction: We still trying to involve each student in all activities more or less at the same level. The joy of communicating with students from other countries charging them with confidence that they do their best in our partnership.
