Stroke Awareness Month

The temperature outside is getting warmer, which means it’s time to cut grass, go on walks, and enjoy the sun. There’s nothing quite like having a good picnic with friends and family on a beautiful day.

The following educational activities will be held in observance of Stroke Awareness Month with the topic: Minutes Saves Brain. Know the Signs and Symptoms of a Stroke.

Sunday, May 14 - Josh Adams, Stroke Coordinator, and Dr. Cathleen Adams will be guests of In Touch on Sunday, May 14. In Touch is a weekly public affairs program airing on KQV-AM 1410, WKVE-FM 103.1, WKHB-FM 103.9, WKHB-AM 620 and WKGO-FM 88.1

Tuesday, May 23, 2 p.m. - Josh Adams, Stroke Coordinator will present program at Newhaven Court at Lindwood. The public is welcome to attend.

Thursday, May 25, 8:20 a.m. - Josh Adams, Stroke Coordinator will present program at Westmoreland Mall during Mall Walkers. The public is welcome to attend. Doors open at 7:45 a.m. and the presentation begins at 8:20 a.m.

Saturday, May 27, 9 a.m. - Josh Adams, Stroke Coordinator, and Dr. Cathleen Adams will be guests on Laurel Faith In Action public broadcast. The broadcast will air on 98.7-FM Westmoreland Gold.
