New State-Of-The-Art Surgical Device For Heart Patient Care

Heart valve surgery can be especially difficult in patients with a large amount of calcification, where there is a heightened risk that the built-up plaque may break away and enter the blood stream and thus cause a stroke.

Thanks to a $231,000 gift from the Westmoreland/Frick Hospital Foundation, Excela Health cardiothoracic surgeons now have a device to help mitigate such risks, and benefit patients who might otherwise have been considered inoperable.

OB/GYN Online Education Class: Infant Safety

Excela Health wants parents to be prepared and have peace of mind about caring for their infant whether a new or seasoned parent. Our online Infant Safety class will help parents learn about child safety practices, including car seat rules and regulations, infant CPR techniques and more.

This class is offered as an on-demand video. Nurses are available via telephone to answer any questions after watching the presentation.

Employee Referral Program

In our continuing efforts to initiate and sustain opportunities designed to strengthen our abilities to recruit and retain staff for select positions within the organization, an Enhanced Employee Referral Program has been implemented until May 30, 2022. Positions include: Registered Nurses, Registered Respiratory Therapists, Technical Partner and more. Applicants must be offered and accepted during this timeframe.

When you refer a candidate and they mention your name as a referral either on their online application or during their interview, and if the candidate is hired and all guidelines have been met, then you will be paid out after the six month mark pending all qualifications are met.
