Rather than buy a gift, make a tasty treat... ● 6 tbsp powdered milk ●
6 tbsp powdered sugar

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
●
1/4 cup mini Marshmallows
●
2 tbsp crushed candy caned
To Make The Jars: In a 16 oz jar layer the powdered milk, cocoa powder and powdered sugar. Top with the candy canes and marshmallows. Close the lid and decorate with a ribbon and holiday stickers (optional). To Prepare The Hot Cocoa: For 1 cup of hot cocoa, bring 1 1/4 cup of water to a boil. Carefully remove the marshmallows and crushed candy canes from the jar. Mix the contents of the jar together. Add about 1/2 cup of the mix to 1 1/4 cup of boiling water, whisk to combine. Cook for 1 minute, them pour

ORANGE OLIVE OIL CAKE Rather than buy a gift, make a tasty treat...

1 1/3 cups extra-virgin olive oil
●
3 large eggs
●
1 1/4 cups whole milk
●
1 1/2 tablespoons grated orange zest
●
1/4 cup orange freshly squeezed juice
●
1/4 cup Grand Marnier
●
1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
●
2 cups all-purpose flour
●
1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt, or to taste
●
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
●
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
●
confectioners’ sugar, for dusting
This olive oil cake recipe couldn’t be simpler to make! Just whisk together the wet ingredients, then add in the dry. Turn the batter into a greased and lined 9-inch springform pan. Bake until the orange cake is golden brown and domed in the center, and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs. You’ll need to let this olive oil cake cool for a few minutes before turning out of the pan to finish cooling on a wire rack. Dust with confectioners’ sugar just before serving.
