Your Exclusive Wedding Venue The romantic setting and timeless elegance of Irnham Hall located between Stamford and Grantham in South Lincolnshire is the perfect backdrop for your wedding day.
Irnham Hall is the stunning private family home of the Benton-Jones family set within beautiful gardens and extensive grounds. The fabulous Summer House and Walled garden can be rented exclusively for your big day.
Your Wedding at Irnham Irnham offers a “blank canvas” allowing you to create a truly unique wedding. Your Marriage Ceremony Our beautiful Orangery within Irnham Hall is licensed for civil ceremonies or civil partnerships and will comfortably sit 100. The ceremony room is separate to the Summer House and walled garden where you will retire for your wedding breakfast and evening celebration. All our rooms are beautifully appointed with large windows and floor to ceiling windows inviting natural day light and a fresh romantic feel to your day. To hold your ceremony at Irnham you will need to book your civil ceremony direct with the South Kesteven Council and pay any costs associated to them. We would suggest a wedding ceremony at 2 pm and you can bring your own CD to provide the background music for your ceremony. Church Wedding You may have a religious marriage ceremony or blessing service, subject to the Rector’s agreement, in the beautiful St Andrews Church located within the grounds of Irnham Hall and just 100 m away from the main house and in prime position in the centre of the village. The Church is a 5-minute walk from the Summer House and Walled Garden and can seat 120. You will need to discuss the possibility of a church service direct with the Priest in charge. The Summer House and walled garden at Irnham Hall are an incredible setting for you and your guests to enjoy. Our beautiful grounds are the ideal location for your wedding photographs. Friends and family will love the privacy of the secluded walled garden as everyone is together and free to enjoy a game of croquet over drinks and canapes!
Hospitality and Catering IRNHAM HALL is unique. We offer the opportunity to create your own bespoke wedding and nothing is more important than food and drink. We have in-house catering teams with different styles, so feel free to choose the one that suits you best 1. Jeeves Catering 2. Black Peppermint catering These lovely caterers can tailor a menu to offer you anything you might want from traditional wedding breakfast to Afternoon tea or more sharing street food style offerings. Their staff are wonderful and they deliver excellent food and service. We also recommend : Tom’s Kitchen, Rutland Gourmet, Dimblebee Catering and Thomas the Caterer *. These caterers will not only create sublime menus and food but also offer a full hospitality service enabling them to run your entire wedding with style and efficiency. You can also choose the colour and style of your linen through to the cutlery and crockery. Popular at Irnham Hall is wood fire pizza in the evening or a more informal BBQ or Hog Roast. We appreciate that some people prefer a more informal wedding style and we are happy to accommodate this. Our in House Irnham Bar will run your bar and we have drinks packages that start at £18.00 for 2019. The Summer House seats 120 people on round tables but you could have up to 150 seated on long tables. Most couples have a long top table and round tables for their guests. We offer either 6 foot round diameter tables (to seat up to 10 people) or 6 foot trestle tables which can be joined together for a more informal banquet. *please note a small kitchen fee applies to use any caterer other than the in House teams
Local Accommodation Irnham Hall offers a fabulous honeymoon suite within the House available for couples to spend their first night. Irnham Weddings has also developed a number of Luxury cottages dotted around the village of Irnham. The Luxury Brides Cottage is incredibly popular and boast a serene and wonderful space to get ready or retire to after your wedding. We also have some larger cottages sleeping up to 10 people, brilliant for families and guests wanting to get ready or reconvene together without needing to take a taxi. Do ask the wedding team for the full list of local accommodation. There are so many options near by to suit all tastes and budgets.

How To Find Us : We are located 8 minutes drive from the Colsterworth Exit of the A1(M). Irnham Village is 20 minutes between Grantham and Stamford in South Lincolnshire and on the edge of Rutland and Leicestershire. The closest town is Bourne and the village of Corby Glen is 2 miles away. Once in the village of Irnham, the main gates leading to the Hall are nestled in the main bend just up the hill from the pub and round the corner from the Church.

Weddings at Irnham Hall ~ Things To Know Exclusive Venue Hire Option –we can cater from 60 – 120 people. Wedding season runs from March – December. Appointments: Irnham Hall is a private house and we only can offer a limited number of appointments at weekends. Please bear this in mind when arranging any appointments to discuss your wedding. We never do show arounds during an actual wedding or event. On confirming your provisional reservation and date for your wedding – we can hold the date for up to two weeks. During this time visit the church to check on your dates. If you are having a civil ceremony you will need to book your registrar and the time you would like to get married. Telephone: 01522 782 422 Once you have arranged your ceremony, we require a non-refundable deposit of £1000 to secure your booking. Three months before your wedding, the final balance will be due. We now also take a damage deposit of £500 on your final payment to cover damages and breakages which is refunded to you post wedding provided there are no damages to pay for. Don’t forget to book any musicians, band, DJ or any other wedding entertainment. Book your photographer, videographer, florist, wedding transport in plenty of time. Please refer to the back of this directory for details on suppliers or our recommended suppliers list. Good suppliers get booked up fast, particularly on a Saturday ! BAR: Our in House Bar is run by KIWI Bar Lincs. Packages start at £18.00 for a welcome drink/ wine on table and toast champagne. For any discussions on bar and prices please refer to Kimberley@irnhamhallevents.co.uk BRIDES COTTAGE: We have a gorgeous luxury Brides cottage (£150 / night) which sleeps up to 4 and potentially an extra 2/3 people in adjacent cottage for you to get ready in. Some Brides choose to retire to the Brides Cottage after their big day or move to the BRIDAL SUITE (IRNHAM HALL) : a Majestic Suite Bedroom with King size bed and luxury bathroom above the Porch at Irnham Hall – offering views down to the Pond and the Cedar Tree. Continental Breakfast served in room . £300/ night – if also required the night before for the Bride and Brides Maid - £500 for 2 nights.
Suggested Wedding Day Timings The timings below are based on a 2pm ceremony at the Orangery or Church and are merely to demonstrate how your day may flow. 1:30 pm Guests arrive at Irnham Hall prior to the ceremony 2:00 pm Ceremony/Church service begins 2:30 pm Ceremony ends followed by reception drinks and photographs 3:00 pm Drinks and mingling in the walled garden, Confetti and group shots 4:30pm The wedding breakfast is announced in the Summer House Bride and Groom may go off for photographs and have a few moments 5:00 pm The Bride and Groom are announced into the room and the wedding breakfast is served – some choose to do speeches now 7:00 pm Cutting of the cake and speeches if not done before 7:30 pm Evening guests start to arrive ? 8:00 pm First Dance 9:45 pm Evening food ? 11:30 pm Last Dance and Last orders 11:45 pm Bride and Groom Depart – Bar closes Midnight Music finishes and all guests must be gone Catering: Our preferred caterers are JEEVES - www.jeevecatering.com and Black Peppermint Food Co. - www.blackpeppermint.com Should you choose to bring your own catering team so we charge £250 kitchen fee to bring in an outside caterer. Car Parking: There is plenty of parking at Irnham. Vehicles may be left overnight and can be collected before noon the next day. This may be useful for many of your guests do make sure they have taxi numbers and book these as early in advance as possible. Coaches and Minibuses: There is no problem about coaches or buses. Please advise the events team if coaches or mini buses are hired for the day to allow parking and turn around space. Confetti: We are proud of our high standards of cleanliness and would rather your guest only used biodegradable/ natural confetti such as petals. Directions: Please ensure your guests have directions to Irnham Hall as our postcode is not suitable for satellite navigation – please advise your guests to use NG33 4JD as a post code or look for the Griffin Pub in the village. Irnham Hall is on the main bend between Swinstead Road and Corby Road in the village of Irnham. There are large black electric gates at the end of the drive.
Disabled facilities: Access is available for disabled guests and they can be driven up to all venues. We can provide ramps if necessary. Entrance: The entrance to Irnham Hall is via the main gates in the village located on the main bend where Swinstead Road meets Bulby Road. Evening Guests: You may have additional evening guests up to 180 people. Fireworks: In consideration for both our neighbours and the horses on site, fireworks are not permitted at Irnham Hall. Although if you really want them SILENT fireworks may be permitted. Floral Decorations: We are happy to recommend florists who will suit your needs. Pollen Designs in Bourne is very popular and Glen Esk Flowers in Grantham but there are many fabulous floristry designers who will also be happy to help decorate your venue for you. Garden Furniture: Garden furniture is provided to allow your guests to enjoy the outdoors. Insurance: We recommend clients take out a suitable insurance policy to cover any accidental damage that may arise during the course of the event. Clients are liable for any negligent damage caused as a result of the actions of their guests. Invitations: Your privacy & security is important to us. When planning your wedding stationary, please ask your guests (both day time and evening) to bring their invitations with them. Licensing Hours: We find that weddings are a long day and are best ended on a high when most of your guests are still present. Our venue bar licence is approved until midnight. We ask all guests to depart by midnight please. Numbers: Our largest party we can have seated is for 140 people on round tables and 160 people on long tables. The maximum number that we can accommodate during the evening is 200 in total. Chairs: Our chairs are chiavari lime white chairs with a black velvet seat pad and white seat pads in the ceremony room. Tables: We supply either 6 foot diameter round tables, seating 10 or 6 foot Long Tables seating 3 either side. Photographs: Irnham provides the perfect setting for official photographs and video. If you would like us to recommend a photographer we will be pleased to do so. If you would like to bring a drone, please do – just let us know. Staff Profile: As a company we provide you with an enthusiastic and courteous team offering friendly, yet professional advice. A member of the events team will be on site during your whole day. Table Linen: Note that all your table linen and table ware requirements need to be booked through your approved caterer. Taxis: We are happy to order taxis during the evening but cannot guarantee their punctuality. Guests should be encouraged to pre-book taxis for a given time.
