J.LINDEBERG ‘AIM HIGHER’ WITH FW21
The Fall Winter 2021 collection from J.Lindeberg takes another big step into the future as a pioneering leader in golf wear.
The collection is part of the concept ‘Aim Higher’, and continues around the theme of lightness, while offering a more sustainable choice. ‘Aim Higher’ is defined by three main stories: Gradient Tech™, Active Mesh™ and The Elements™. Building on the sensations from Spring Summer 2021, it has been updated with above-the-cut styles for top performance.

The collection is the first designed by Neil Lewty, Head of Design, who was recruited in August 2020 from Hugo Boss Sportswear. ‘With this collection, we aim to inspire. We’ve taken our best performing pieces and extended its technical features’, says Lewty.
‘Similar to our fashion line, the golf collection presents contrasting fabrics, neutral and strong bright colors, and refined techniques to adapt to our surroundings while always adding a layer of aspirational design. Simply put, we aim higher.’
The result is a strong series with a determined, confident, active and sophisticated energy. The new innovations include a lightweight high stretch cotton pique – Cotton Elite, as well as Tech Wool and Soft Jersey Brushed with a softer, brushed interior. It also includes several new jackets, among them a fully taped, waterproof hybrid jacket with PrimaLoft® padding.
Another revolutionary step is the increased focus on sustainability. 80% of the fabrics used are BlueSign® or Oekotex® certified and the collection is entirely fluorocarbon PFOA and PFO free. ‘Style and comfort is essential and has long been a part of the J.Lindeberg DNA, but as we move forward, an increased focus on sustainability is crucial’, says Lewty.
ZOLA GOLF DRESS CHARLI PADDED GOLF JACKET Active Mesh gets an update with Mesh Jacquard for patterns improving air permeability and Structure Mesh, a computer jaquarded structure creating air pockets for highly improved ventilation. Gradient Tech allows for extreme ventilation with coverage where you need it and a structure that minimises bulk when tucked in. The Elements concept offers a range of waterproof styles, perfect for fall golf. The collection is adjusted to a season of transitional weather, with above-the-cut style for top performance. Lighter weight, improved ventilation with mesh detailing are all integrated in pieces which hold up to the elements. Warmth & comfort are essential - using more brushed fabrics in polos and mid layers to meet demands, as well as a warming warp knit jersey in pants. The outerwear program is extended and includes several new jackets, among them a fully taped, waterproof hybrid jacket with PrimaLoft® padding.
Similar to the fashion line, the golf collection presents contrasting fabrics, colors and techniques - refined techniques to adapt to our surroundings, always adding a layer of aspirational design. A new fit and elastic sleeve detail helps control the mid layers from moving around whilst swinging, while the new Soft Jersey Brushed and Tech Wool bring new dimensions of comfort into the collection. JL have even taken their best performing pieces, like their water repellent mid layer, and extended its technical feature into a Travel Golf Top and Travel Golf Pant this season.
This season JL present three main color stories for women. The first is JL Navy, Light Grey, Croco Gray, Neon Yellow, Silver & White, the second various shades of Blue paired with Pale Pink and White. The third color story is Black, Orange and White. For men’s golf the first color story is Black, Grey Camou, Silver, Neon Yellow and White. The second color story is JL Navy, Navy Camou, Majolica Blue, Fancy Blue and White.
