1. Use one LDC for each dimmer. 2. Install in accordance with all national and local electrical codes. 3. LDCs are not rated for mounting in a plenum. 4. LDCs are not for use with reverse phase control products such as ELVI and wallbox ELV dimmers. 5. LDCs are not for use with fluorescent controls such as Lutron’s Hi-lume®, Eco-10TM, or Tu-Wire® fluorescent products. 6. LDC must be mounted on load side when used with GRAFIK Eye® 2000 and 3000 series Control Units. 7. When two or more dimmers share a common feed, the LDC should not be mounted on the common leg of the feed.

Installation 1. LDCs make an audible buzz; mount in a remote area such as an electrical closet, basement, or above a drop ceiling. 2. Check the chart below to confirm that you have the correct lamp debuzzing coil for your load. 3. Turn off power feed to dimmer unit at circuit breaker. 4. The LDC can be installed in series with the dimmed hot feed to the load as in Figure 1 or in series with the live/hot feed to the dimmer unit as in Figure 2. . 5. Using screws provided, mount LDC as shown in Figure 5. The LDC may be mounted in any orientation. 6. Turn power on and check operation.

Mounting Considerations 1 . The operating temperature range of the Lamp Debuzzing Coil (LDC) is 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F). If the LDC is subject to an ambient temperature of more than 40°C (104°F) or is overloaded (see chart below) the unit will shut off the dimmed load. After the LDC cools, it will resume operation. 2. The LDC should be installed on a 1900 junction box (4" x 4" x 1-1/2") in accordance with appropriate codes. 3. The LDC should be placed in a location where noise is not an important consideration.
