Lynton Late Night Shopping
Sunday 3 December 5.30pm-late
All shops are open, the local schoolchildren sing festive songs on the steps of the Valley of Rocks hotel, the brass band from the local URC play carols and there are other street entertainment and street stalls including Christmas trees for sale. Father Christmas usually arrives about 6.15pm on an all-singing, all-dancing sleigh and spends an hour or so in his grotto in Queen Street. Many local shops give away festive food and warmed spicy drinks, we have a grand Christmas draw and many of us have promotions on the night too. Generally a great night out for all the family and a great social occasion! Car parking is free in November/December in Lynton! Further details from Exmoor Flowers, 1 Lee Road, Lynton. 01598 753322.
