Whichever way you look at it, the Revolver is a remarkable biner design. The pulley wheel is a unique design feature that solves the age old problem of rope drag. It also makes this biner a very useful tool for arborists and in rescue or emergency hauling situations when a pulley is required.

This is the ‘Big Daddy’ of lockers – the ultimate rigging biner and one which is super strong and super tough. It is large enough to accommodate several knots and has a very wide gate opening making it perfect in a rigging situation. It’s large shape makes this biner easy to handle in gloves and the appeal to winter climbers and riggers is obvious.

After observing how sport climbers were modifying their belay biners with rubber bungs to prevent cross-loading with certain belay devices, DMM came up with a cleaner, simple, solution. The horn prevents pulleys, swivels and locking assisted belay devices rotating off the top bar and on to the spine reducing the risk of cross loading.

The Klettersteig Carabiner is an offset D shape with I-beam construction for optimal strength to weight ratio. The Klettersteig boasts extra large internal volume and gate clearance making it a perfect biner for rigging and profession use.

The Sentinel is one of the lightest mini HMS locking carabiners on the market. It’s slightly offset design increases strength and directs heavy loads into the spine, the gently curved top bar with a generous rope radius that allows it to work well with both single and double rope EN362:2004/B controllers. REVOLVER

The Aero HMS has several features which raise it above the competition. For a start it’s hot forged – a process that allows us a much greater degree of freedom in the design and manufacturing process. A product of this very freedom is the anti snag Keylock nose. And then there is the EN362:2004/B extremely generous rope radius – a whopping BS EN 7599:2010 AA10 11.3mm!

The Revolver is well established as part of a comprehensive trad leading rack. In simple terms the carabiner uses rolling friction rather than the sliding friction of the rope over the bar typified by a standard carabiner. In this case the rope rolls over the pulley wheel which means much less friction is created. The Revolver also works well in rescue situations as a pulley.

The Spectre II is a combination of the Shadow and the Spectre of old. A good size biner with a massive 9 kN gate open strength at only 32g and of course all the usual DMM refinements that makes the Spectre II a must have for your redpoint or onsight kit.

DMM has taken all the weight advantages of the Phantom, but with better handling and a bigger gate opening. With a kinked backbone to increase the gate opening and a grooved pattern on the outside of the biner for better handling. Dyneema is a remarkable material and it is true to say that it has revolutionised sling production. It has several advantages over nylon webbing. For a start it is incredibly light and strong, it is also less susceptible to UV degradation and is more abrasion resistant. For sports climbing Nylon comes into its own. Nylon has the same strength as Dyneema, but because there is physically more material they offer a greater safety margin should they be dragged over a sharp edge. Their variable width makes holding the draw easy and safer in those desperate moments.

The classic carries an 80m rope and a few extras, the full size tarp with four colour coded tie in points keeps your cord dirt and tangle free. The clever strap system allows either a rucksack or a courier style carry.

The Catch is a towable rope adjustment device conforming to EN 12841:2006 Type A. The device features non-aggressive stainless steel cams which are spring loaded allowing it to be positioned on the rope while the user is working. The towable release mechanism allows the user to tow the device while simultaneously descending. Screw lockable for semi-permanent attachment to rope with a large attachment eye for multiple connections.

With hardly a straight line in sight, the hot forged curves and fairlead flares of our Pinto Pulley make for an ultra efficient, ‘textile friendly’ environment. Clip, hitch, splice or thread the anchor holes or the becket to give numerous work and rescue configurations (textile attachments can help minimise any torsional build up in closed systems) Pinto comes with minimum fuss, highly efficient Oilite bushings. Pinto Rig is slightly larger than the Pinto and accommodating a larger rope size, the Pinto Rig also has a high efficiency roller bearing giving ultra smooth operation.
